Corinne Adams Emerging Artist Fellowship
Atlanta Center for Photography is proud to support an Atlanta-based, emerging, lens-based artist with the Corinne Adams Emerging Artist Fellowship. One artist will be selected by a jury to complete and exhibit an individual project over an approximately 9-month period. The Fellow will receive support on their proposed exhibition including mentorship from an established artist, professional development opportunities, a $750 artist fee, production support, and a 3-month solo exhibition at the ACP Project Lab exhibition space on Edgewood Ave.
ACP will also select 4-6 artists to participate in the Emerging Artist Fellowship Cohort, which includes full access to all professional development opportunities, an $325 artist fee, inclusion in a Cohort group exhibition hosted by Day and Night Projects in Summer 2026, and recognition through all ACP channels (newsletter, IG, etc).

Fellow receives:
- 3-month solo exhibition at ACP Project Lab with an opening reception on May 21, 2026
- Professional development opportunities
- 1:1 mentorship
- Participation in the 2025 ACP Portfolio Reviews
- Exhibition layout and installation guidance/assistance from mentor and ACP staff
- An artist talk and opportunity to suggest or coordinate additional programming
- $750 artist fee and additional production support

Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be an emerging lens-based artist (photography, video art, mixed media)
- Applicants must live or work in the Atlanta metro area
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Proposed projects cannot be for fulfillment of academic-based requirements, such as a graduate thesis
- Applicants cannot be enrolled in an undergraduate program at the time of application
Preference will be given to artists who have not reached established career milestones, such as gallery representation, a monograph publication, or museum exhibitions.

Submission Requirements:
- $15 Application Fee
- Application Form (add pictures and scale drawing)
- Biographical statement including photography experience (250-word max)
- Brief proposal of your exhibition (350-word max)
- A successful proposal will take into account the unique scale and architecture of the Project Lab (reference images and layout will be provided during application period)
- Consider and describe any unique installation elements your project includes, if any
- Portfolio of 10 work samples
- JPG, 2000px on the longest side, sRBG color space
- Use the naming convention:
Lastname_Firstname_Scholarship_SequenceNumber
(Ex: Ibarra_José_Scholarship_01)*
*This step is critical to keep entries organized. Applications with photographs that do not follow the naming convention will not be considered.
